South Delta Secondary
Prayer at the Pole has been around for years. However, in the past couple, we've seen a major decline in the number of attending students aswell as the amount of enthusiasm surrounding our weekly meetings. This year, our regular turn out was about 6. It's my last year in highschool and I've kind of taken it upon myself to re-establish a group that is representative of the Christians in my school. As a person, I want to see a sense of community brought to South Delta. As a christian, I want to see God's will brought upon South Delta, to see change of the Christ-like variety, to see God's light shine in every student's face. Is this a realistic goal for the 2007-2008 school year? No. However, I have God on my side, and I realize that there is a reason He's put this on my heart.
I still don't know what this group, or the change that it will implement, is going to look like. So, instead of a description, I've given you background.
