Club 180° Jesus can turn our lives 180° away from where He found us --to His greatness and love! We meet twice a week to share, discuss, and encourage each other in our walk of faith.
Operation Christmas Child!
Here's your chance to gift a Christmas gift to kids who don't have the luxury of receiving gifts as we do! Samaritan's Purse spends all of December shipping these boxes to over 100 developing countries around the world where kids are not as fortune to recieve stockings full of presents. So this is our way of giving back! How Do I Pack a Shoebox? 1) Find a shoebox (Official shoeboxes at Safeways if you can't find one)2) Pick boy/girl, and age range. (Print a label out on the link below)3) Fill it with gifts (stationary, toys, hygienic items, see link below)4) Put $7 in an envelope5) Wrap it up6) Deliver it to the SAFEWAY closest to you! They will be accepting shoeboxes from NOV 24- 29.7) take a PICTURE with ur shoebox :D so that we can upload it onto facebook group.. and as a Hephzibah memory this year!!So it'll be ABOUT $20-25 per shoebox depending on how much new stuff you can scrounge up from your house, but feel free to do this in pairs. And yes, dollar stores are a VERY good idea. http://www.samaritanspurse.ca/occ/
posters, homosexuals, and teachers.
our school has a lot of clubs. last year, each groups posted their posters up. but after a few weeks, the club 180 posters were mostly torn down.. and we still dont know what happened to them. we posted more up anyway though. anyway, there is a gay straight alliance club and a club called spectrum, which favours diversity and peace and such, which is great to know they are friendly, it's too bad most of them do not know Christ (YET! i hope they will). well, spectrum and 180 are joining forces this year to do the christmas box project, which was originally carried out by 180 until 2 yrs ago, and now spectrum's initiated to bring it back, asking us to be their partner. i really pray that everything will go smoothly, and others will realize the true meaning of Christmas.back to the posters! apparently, just like club 180's posters last year, the gay straight alliance club's posters this year have been torned down! we have no idea who did it.. but our principal said that some teachers (who remains anonymous) in the school have done it. as a Christian, i do not support homosexuals either.. but im not homophobic... i dont know why their posters got torned down, but i just also want to pray for them... because they are blind.180 will be posting up more of our own posters soon, and that Jesus will use us to reach out. i just really wanna pray for the gay straight alliance club so that they will understand Christ's love for them.. and how Christians don't dislike them. we want them to know how much better life can be.i hope you understood what i said up there. i just found all of this out today. thank you for reading.God bless

The Starting of Club 180 in the 2007-08 School Year
(A friend who is also a member told me this story) There was a Club Fair at our school in the beginning of September, and a a couple of the club members went to promote Club 180. Most of our club members had graduated last year, so knowing we now only have 4 regular members, we prayed for many to come and join. At the fair, 3 students signed up and we were so happy because we almost doubled! My point is...God answers prayers!!! Yay! Then as time went by, we had more people come. There are now 10 people in our group (and it's only the beginning)! I really pray that each of us will continue to grow and encourage others to also take a stand, and for all of us to shine that all the other students will see that Jesus is so REAL! Michelle Tanner
