I know that we are only a elementary school, but I really feel that our prayers are needed to cover every school.  This is the one in my town and I wanted to cover it.  I've done SYATP for aobut 4 years now with only 4-5 max. in attendance.  Kinda disappointing, but at least its covered! 

Last year, I had the first teacher come out to it and appreciated our prayers greatly!  I know of at least one another Christian teacher in our school.  Lots of the kids go to the local Kids Klub in town, which has alos served as a local daycare for our town for younger siblings.  And many of them go to local VBS's in town as well.  Its a small country town school, that is still able to sing Christmas carols, for which I'm thankful that they can even do that still! 

This year, I'm taking an idea from your newsletter of last year's event and doing Parents at the Pole at 7 pm instead of the morning---and it happens to fall on youth night at our church and many prayer and bible studies in our town are happening, so I'm praying for many more people to come and participate.
