Simon Fraser University
In Short: The Point Church is your church on campus!
We are a church without a chapel, pews or lofty pulpit. We are busy people from different walks of life, but we share the belief that it’s necessary to know and follow God in order to find true peace and direction. We come together weekly to worship God and be reminded of His priorities.
We chose a university campus for our base because we care about students. The location makes sense, since we are a church that sees intellect and faith as complimentary, not contradictory. Creativity and artistic endeavour also have a place in our church and are often expressed through music and drama.
We value relationships – with God and with each other – so there are also plenty of other opportunities to hang out, rent movies, pray together, study the Bible and be philosophical. This church also places a strong focus on leadership development; so, if you want to get involved or have an idea that you’d like to try out, we’ll find a place for you.
